Funding for mineral exploration in Yukon
Program Description
The Yukon Mineral Exploration Program (YMEP) provides part of the risk capital to locate, explore, and develop mineral projects to an advanced exploration stage.
It has two projects: hardrock exploration & placer exploration.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Obtain the Application for Funding form and Prospecting or Exploration Proposal
3. Complete all sections of the Application for Funding form
4. Prepare a detailed Prospecting or Exploration Proposal
5. Submit the completed application and proposal via email, secure file drop, mail, or in person by March 31 at 11:59 pm local time
