Program Description
Get a rebate for hiring Yukon residents and using Yukon-made goods and services. The Business Incentive Program gives rebates to businesses working on eligible Government of Yukon contracts. Rebates are for Yukon hires—youths, apprentices and adults—or Yukon-made goods and services.
Steps to Apply
1. Have your employees fill out and sign the Employee Information and Release form and gather supporting documents verifying their Yukon residency
2. Submit the Employee Information and Release form along with supporting documents to the Business Incentive Program as soon as possible
3. Contact the Business Incentive Program for the Employment Report worksheet and fill it out, documenting all on-site hours of labour according to your payroll period
4. Sign a Statutory Declaration and have it notarized
5. Submit the completed application and all required documents in person, by email, or by mail
