Funding to train employees

Program Description

Workplace Skills Training is a program developed for employers to train new or existing employees to develop their skills and align with needs of the business. The employer determines the type of training and who will participate. Training must be short term and meet job-specific and incremental industry requirements of the organization. Training considered part of the organization's normal business operations will not be eligible under the Workplace Skills Training Program.

Steps to Apply

1. Review eligibility criteria 2. Download the Workplace Skills Training Application for Employers 3. Prepare a brief outline of the company's products or services and future growth plan 4. Develop a detailed proposal outlining training objectives, activities, duration, and expected results 5. Create a detailed project budget demonstrating financial contribution 6. Identify the proposed training provider and gather their details 7. Complete the application form with all required information 8. Submit the completed application and supporting documents via email to skillspei@gov.pe.ca or deliver them to a local SkillsPEI office
