Loans for Manitoba women entrepreneurs

Program Description

WeMB offers loans for startup, expansion, and the purchase of an existing business in any amount up to $150,000. To be eligible for financing, applicants must be a legal entity, a self-identifying woman (cis, trans, 2S, or gender-diverse) or be an operation owned and controlled by the same, a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, or a legal entity owned and controlled by a Canadian citizen or citizens or a landed immigrant or immigrants, and operating or about to operate in Manitoba.

Steps to Apply

1. Review eligibility criteria 2. Prepare a comprehensive business plan 3. Submit the business plan to WeMB 4. Meet with a Business Advisor for review and feedback 5. Complete the Loan Application Form and Personal Statement of Affairs 6. Provide any additional information or clarification as requested 7. Business Advisor submits the application to the Loan Committee for review
