What is this funding for?
Funding to enhance water management on Alberta farms
Program Description
The Water Program supports agricultural water management by helping primary producers adopt agriculture water better management practices and priority actions. This supports better management of risks to water quality and supplies, adaptation to climate variability and the efficient use of water resources.
Steps to Apply
1. Review the Water Program Terms and Conditions to confirm eligibility
2. Verify that proposed activities are listed in the On-Farm Irrigation Stream Funding List
3. Complete and sign the Water Program Application form
4. Gather supporting documents, including proof of 10% down payment for eligible expenses
5. Submit the completed application and supporting documents via email to [emailprotected] or by mail to the Sustainable-CAP Water Program, Natural Resource Innovation Section, Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, Agriculture Centre, 100, 5401 1 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4V6
