Funding for agri-business product and market development in Alberta
Program Description
The Value-Added Program supports the continued diversification, innovation, growth and prosperity in Alberta s value-added food and bio-industrial sectors. Processors can apply for grants for value-added projects that increase company sales and production capacity, expand market opportunities and create jobs in Alberta.
Steps to Apply
1. Review the Value-Added Program Terms and Conditions to confirm eligibility
2. Ensure proposed activities are listed as eligible in the Funding List
3. Complete all sections of the application form
4. Download and fill out the Application Form
5. Carefully read 'Part F: Certification' before signing with an original signature (electronic or digital signatures are not accepted)
6. Submit the completed application form and supporting documents within 90 calendar days of the project start date
7. Email both the original digital fillable PDF and a scanned copy of the signed application to [emailprotected] or mail them to the Value-Added Program, Sustainable CAP, Trade, Investment and Food Safety Division, Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, Suite 301, 7000 113 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6H 5T6
