Financial assistance to train drivers of light or heavy vehicles in eco-driving
Program Description
Eco-driving allows for a reduction in vehicle operating and maintenance costs, an improvement in road safety and a reduction in the environmental footprint of vehicles. Eco-driving training provides drivers of light or heavy road vehicles with the tools they need
Steps to Apply
1. Contact an approved organization to select a training that meets your needs
2. Compare service offerings and prices from multiple approved organizations
3. Conclude an agreement with the chosen approved organization for the training activities
4. Ensure the approved organization delivers the standardized training and that all participants sign the "Attendance Register" form
5. Complete the financial aid application form in Excel format
6. Sign the "General Information" tab of the application form and save it as a PDF or image
7. Obtain a copy of the invoice for the standardized training provided by the approved organization
8. Submit the completed application form, the signed "General Information" tab, and the training invoice to the Ministry
