Program Description
CanExport SMEs is a funding program designed to promote and enhance Canada's trade diversification efforts. It offers grants and contributions to Canadian companies to help them prepare for and establish a presence in international markets where they currently have little or no sales.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Prepare required documents, including articles of incorporation and GST34 return or FPZ-500-V form (for Quebec-based applicants)
3. Register for an account on the CanExport SMEs online portal
4. Complete the 'My Profile' section and update your account profile
5. Complete the Application Basic Eligibility assessment and await validation
6. Upon validation, access the CanExport SMEs application via the 'My Applications' tab
7. Fill out the application form with detailed project information
8. Submit the completed application at least 60 business days before the start date of the first proposed activity
