Funding to hire and keep workers in Yukon

Program Description

The Staffing UP program can help employers find, hire, and keep workers that are a good fit for the organization, train new or existing workers to meet the business's needs, develop workplace supports to accommodate staff, enhance human resource knowledge and practice, get and use labour market information, and connect with other employers to find and keep workers. With the program, applicants may fill a permanent existing position with a worker who lacks experience, perform a workplace-based assessment of a worker’s skills and interests, or provide on-the-job training so the worker gains work experience.
