Program Description

Projects funded under the Collaborations and Networks category of the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) foster large, collaborative business-led projects and innovation networks in areas where Canada has a demonstrated advantage.

Steps to Apply

1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your organization qualifies as a lead applicant 2. Identify and establish collaborations with Canadian universities, colleges, research institutes, for-profit corporations, and/or not-for-profit entities 3. Develop a comprehensive project proposal detailing objectives, scope, timelines, expected outcomes, and how the project will enhance supply chains and strengthen ties between businesses and academia 4. Gather necessary supporting documents, including letters of support, financial statements, and detailed budgets 5. Access the Strategic Innovation Fund’s application portal, create an account if necessary, and complete the online application form thoroughly 6. Upload all required documentation and submit the completed application before the specified deadline
