Program Description
The Saskatchewan Value-added Agriculture Incentive (SVAI) is a non-refundable, non-transferable tax credit on capital expenditures valued at $10 million or more for newly constructed or expanded value-added agriculture facilities in Saskatchewan.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Prepare and submit the SVAI – Application for Conditional Approval
3. Receive conditional approval letter if preliminary eligibility requirements are met
4. Complete the investment project
5. Submit the SVAI – Request for Certificate of Eligibility with required attachments
6. Receive the SVAI Certificate of Eligibility if program requirements are met
