Funding to make Ontario agricultural lands more resilient

Program Description

RALP funding supports the planting/establishment and on-going maintenance of perennial warm season grasses for improving pastures. Increasing the frequency of plantings of perennial warm season grasses as part of pasture management results in more resilient agricultural landscapes with an increased ability to sequester carbon, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce soil erosion, and provide many other ecological benefits.

Steps to Apply

1. Review the Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program Guide to understand eligibility criteria and application requirements 2. Obtain a certificate of completion for a 4th Edition Environmental Farm Plan 3. Create an account on the OSCIA Portal and complete the Enrolment Form 4. Prepare a detailed site map of the project location using a satellite image 5. Obtain a letter of support from a qualified third-party expert using the provided template 6. Complete the Application Form with all required information 7. Submit the completed application and all supporting documents electronically through the OSCIA Portal
