Funding for artificial intelligence in Northern Ontario
Program Description
The Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative (RAII) will help bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and broader marketplace consumption with support spanning two pillars:
AI productization and commercialization Support AI scale-ups address common challenges on their journey from lab prototypes to real-world applications, including securing growth capital, talent acquisition, data management, and navigating regulatory and business conduct frameworks.
Adoption of AI applications Support will address AI adoption lag among small and medium-sized enterprises. Support will focus on addressing challenges, such as skills gaps, AI integration complexities, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Contact a FedNor Officer at 1-877-333-6673 to discuss your proposal
3. Access and review both the initial and detailed application guides through the FedNor portal
4. Log into the FedNor self-service portal to begin the application process
5. Complete all required sections of the initial application form
6. Prepare preliminary proposal details and supporting documents
7. If successful in the initial phase, proceed to complete the detailed application form provided by FedNor
8. Submit detailed project proposals, financial projections, and other necessary documents
