Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program (RALP) - Tree and Shrub Planting

Funding to make Ontario agricultural lands more resilient

RALP funding supports the rejuvenation of existing or establishment of new tree and/or shrub plantings on agricultural landscapes in Ontario. Tree and shrub plantings result in more resilient agricultural landscapes with an increased ability to sequester carbon, reduce soil erosion, and provide many other ecological and water quality benefits.

1. Review the Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program Guide to understand eligibility criteria and application requirements 2. Create an account and complete the Enrolment Form on the OSCIA Portal 3. Obtain a valid premises identification (PID) number 4. Complete the 4th Edition Environmental Farm Plan and obtain the certificate of completion 5. Gather documentation to support your farm business eligibility, especially if an FBRN is not provided 6. Obtain an assessment or letter of support for your project from a qualified expert 7. Prepare a detailed site sketch based on a satellite image showing the precise location and dimensions of the project 8. Complete the Application Form with all required information 9. Submit the completed application and all supporting documents electronically through the OSCIA Portal
