Funding for tourism projects in Quebec
Program Description
The TGP complements support measures provided by other federal, provincial, and territorial programs. CED’s support focuses on increasing the capacity of local tourist attractions to enhance their potential to attract visitors from outside Quebec by supporting the development of tourism products and experiences, in particular in rural and remote regions.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your organization and project qualify
2. Prepare a detailed project proposal, including objectives, expected outcomes, budget, and timeline
3. Gather necessary documentation, such as financial statements and letters of support
4. Contact the appropriate organization based on your project's funding requirements: for contributions over $60,000, reach out to Canada Economic Development (CED); for contributions of $60,000 or less, contact the Société des attractions touristiques du Québec (SATQ); for Indigenous-led initiatives, contact Indigenous Tourism Quebec (ITQ)
5. Submit the completed application and all required documents to the relevant organization before the specified deadline
