Program Description

The Product Development Program (PDP) aims to foster growth and innovation in the agriculture/food processing sector by supporting strategic initiatives. Through financial assistance, the program seeks to catalyze the development of novel value-added products and processes that will significantly enhance the value of Canadian agricultural products in Saskatchewan.

Steps to Apply

1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your business qualifies for the program 2. Gather necessary information, including your CRA Business Number, NAICS code, and a detailed project summary 3. Complete the initial online application form on the program's website 4. Await contact from the Program Coordinator within 5 business days regarding your application's status 5. If invited, fill out the Pre-Approval Application form provided by the Program Coordinator 6. Compile and submit all required supporting documents as specified in the application instructions 7. Ensure all materials are submitted before any financial or legal commitments are made on the project
