Funding to support francophone businesses and communities in British Columbia
Program Description
The Economic Development Initiative (EDI) provides financial support to projects that encourage economic diversification, business development, innovation, partnerships and increased support for small and medium-sized enterprises in official language minority communities (OLMCs).
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your organization works in French and contributes to the development and vitality of British Columbia's Francophonie
2. Contact your local Francophone Economic Development Organization (FEDO) to discuss your project idea and obtain guidance on the application process
3. Prepare a detailed project proposal outlining objectives, expected economic benefits, alignment with EDI sectors, and necessary supporting documents such as business plans, letters of support, and budgets
4. Submit the completed application package to your local FEDO or via email to fdefo@cecs-sk.ca, ensuring all required documents are included and the submission is made before any specified deadlines
