Support for Nova Scotia-based commercial seafood entities

Perennia is providing non-repayable financial assistance to Nova Scotia commercial entities in the fishing, aquaculture, marine plant harvesting and seafood buying/ processing sector to increase productivity, competitiveness, quality and sustainability in the fish and seafood sector under NS-ITAP. Depending on the nature and scope of the project, funding may also be awarded to Nova Scotia-based industry groups or associations. The NS-ITAP supports innovation and infrastructure related projects and aims to increase the value and volume of Nova Scotia fish and seafood products that are marketed as high quality, value-added and sustainably sourced.

1. Review the NS-ITAP Program Guidelines to understand eligibility and funding criteria 2. Develop a detailed project plan with objectives and expected outcomes 3. Prepare a budget outlining project costs and requested funding 4. Gather required supporting documents, such as letters of support or partnership agreements 5. Access and complete the NS-ITAP Application form from Perennia’s website 6. Review the completed application and supporting documents for accuracy 7. Email the application and attachments to Ashley Sprague at asprague@perennia.ca 8. Await confirmation of receipt from Ashley Sprague
