Funding for R&D collaborations with students
Program Description
Maximize your ROI and optimize your budget by tapping into the knowledge and expertise of top-ranked postsecondary students and recent graduates to help you solve critical challenges through the Business Strategy Internship. Open to for-profit companies, hospitals, municipalities, and eligible not-for-profit organizations, the collaborative initiative matches interns from a broad range of disciplines with organizations in need of skilled talent in order to enhance their operations, improve processes, and solve challenges.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria for interns, academic supervisors, and partner organizations
2. Contact your local Mitacs Advisor to discuss project eligibility and funding availability
3. Create an account on the Mitacs Registration and Application Portal (RAP)
4. Co-design the project proposal with your academic supervisor and partner organization
5. Complete all sections of the application form in RAP
6. Obtain signatures from the intern, academic supervisor, partner organization, and Office of Research Services (ORS)
7. Upload the signed ORS page and submit the application through RAP
