Mitacs Accelerate Entrepreneur funds student and postdoctoral entrepreneurs to achieve commercialization goals, and further develop the research or technology at the core of their start-up business. Accelerate Entrepreneur is designed to support the unique needs of postdoctoral, undergraduate, graduate, and college student entrepreneurs. With the support of an approved incubator, Mitacs funding helps students and postdoctoral fellows build their professional entrepreneurial skills, with the goal of commercializing their incorporated start-up’s technology, product, or service through funded internships.
