Grant for Inuit craftspeople in Nunavut’s Qikiqtani Region

Kakivak’s Business Services Department offers a range of services that assist Inuit in the Qikiqtani Region to investigate, plan, establish, manage and expand their own businesses. Our goal is to help create viable and successful Inuit owned businesses that provide employment opportunities for the owners and others within our communities.

1. Review eligibility criteria for the Small Tool Grants program 2. Contact Kakivak's Business Services Department to schedule a consultation with a Business Development Officer 3. Download the Small Tool Grant application form from Kakivak's website 4. Complete the application form with accurate information about your craft and funding needs 5. Gather supporting documents, such as proof of Inuit ownership and details of the tools or supplies to be purchased 6. Submit the completed application and supporting documents to Kakivak's Business Services Department in person, by mail, or via email 7. Confirm receipt of your application with Kakivak and follow up as needed
