Grant for Inuit craftspeople in Nunavut's Qikiqtani Region

Kakivak's Business Services Department offers a range of services that assist Inuit in the Qikiqtani Region to investigate, plan, establish, manage and expand their own businesses. Our goal is to help create viable and successful Inuit owned businesses that provide employment opportunities for the owners and others within our communities.

1. Contact Kakivak's Business Services Department to schedule an appointment with a Business Development Officer 2. Discuss your business goals and determine eligibility for the Small Tool Grant 3. Download the Small Tool Grant application form from the Kakivak website 4. Complete all required sections of the application form with accurate information 5. Prepare supporting documents, such as proof of Inuit ownership and details of the tools to be purchased 6. Submit the completed application form and supporting documents to Kakivak's Business Services Department in person or by mail 7. Receive confirmation of receipt from Kakivak upon submission of the application 8. Follow up with the Business Development Officer for updates on the application status
