Grants for Inuit businesses in Nunavut’s Qikiqtani Region

Kakivak’s Business Services Department offers a range of services that assist Inuit in the Qikiqtani Region to investigate, plan, establish, manage and expand their own businesses. Our goal is to help create viable and successful Inuit owned businesses that provide employment opportunities for the owners and others within our communities.

1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your business qualifies for the Sivummut Grants program 2. Contact Kakivak's Business Development Department to discuss your business needs and obtain guidance on the application process 3. Gather necessary documentation, including a business plan, financial statements, proof of Inuit ownership, and quotes for equipment or supplies 4. Download and complete the Sivummut Grants application form from Kakivak's website 5. Submit the completed application form along with all required documentation to Kakivak's Business Development Department, either in person, by mail, or through their online submission portal if available 6. Follow up with a Business Development Officer to confirm receipt of your application and provide any additional information if requested
