Support for producers funding applications in the Territories
Program Description
The IPF Pre-Application Training Program For Northern Producers is an intensive project development program for up to 12 independent Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and/or Yukon-based producers to improve their applications and success rates when applying for development funding for their Short Form Series. The program will run as a precursor to the IPF Short Form Series Development program.
The IPF Pre-Application Training Program For Northern Producers will provide training through online workshops and customized mentorship to improve applications and success rates for northern-based producers applying for development funding for their TV series. Aiming to grow the media industries, the program is exclusive to the northern territories.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure you are a full-time resident of the Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut, aged 18 or over, and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
2. Prepare required documents, including producer resume, company profile (if applicable), objective statement, project description, project synopsis, and any available materials such as pitch deck, vision document, development budget, development schedule, sustainability plan, chain of title, and letters of recommendation
3. Complete the online application form, providing personal and project details, and upload all required documents as a single PDF file
4. Agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the application form
5. Submit the completed application by the deadline of July 18, 2025, at 11:59 pm PT
