Funding for GHG-reduction projects in Quebec

Program Description

The INNOV-R | Academic program is part of the Quebec government's 2030 Green Economy Plan (PEV 2030) . This plan aims to foster partnerships between Quebec businesses, universities, college centres for technology transfer (CCTTs), public research centres, and other stakeholders. The program's objective is to support the emergence of collaborative innovation projects with strong potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Quebec. It is hoped that the commercialization of products/technologies developed under the program will enable the province to achieve its medium- and long-term GHG reduction targets, while also generating social, environmental, technological, and other benefits. Targeted intervention areas: Agrifood Agricultural production Bioproducts and bioprocesses Environment

Steps to Apply

1. Review eligibility criteria 2. Download and read the applicant's guide 3. Prepare and submit a letter of intent by April 10, 2026 4. Request GHG reduction calculation assistance by May 7, 2026 5. Prepare and submit the detailed application by May 18, 2026
