What is this funding for?
Development and advancement of maneuverable hypersonic weapons
Program Description
In response to the rapid development and deployment of maneuvering hypersonic weapons, the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) are seeking to stimulate the application of hypersonic technologies, including propulsion, flight dynamics, detection, and materials, in the defence and security domain to understand these weapons.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Form a multidisciplinary team with at least three separate eligible organizations, including a Canadian university as the lead applicant
3. Prepare a Letter of Intent (LoI) detailing the proposed research and team composition
4. Submit the LoI via the Application Portal by the specified deadline
5. If invited, prepare a Full Proposal with comprehensive project details
6. Submit the Full Proposal through the Application Portal by the designated deadline
