Funding to support new farmers
Program Description
The Future Farmer Program will support business sector capacity growth and competitiveness by supporting new farmers to improve the probability that they establish or continue profitable and sustainable commercial farm businesses. The program will help new entrants identify and prioritize their business goals and will help them identify planning, management and technical skills that are needed to reach their goals.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Prepare required documents
3. Gather required information and documents
4. Complete the Future Farmer Program General Application Form
5. Attach relevant appendices for specific funding categories
6. Submit the completed application and appendices to the PEI Department of Agriculture
