Funding for decommissioning wells on Saskatchewan farms
Program Description
The Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program (FRWIP) is designed to improve public safety and reduce potential groundwater contamination through well decommissioning.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Prepare required documentation, including invoices and proof of payments
3. Complete the WSA Well Decommissioning Worksheet
4. Decommission the well using a registered well driller for small diameter wells, adhering to recommended practices
5. Download and complete the Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program Rebate Application Form
6. Submit the completed application package by email to agprograms@gov.sk.ca or by mail to the provided address
