Program Description
The Forestry Financing Program was developed in conjunction with the ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts and is administered by La Financière agricole. It provides personalized support, a discount from 0.30 to 0.60 off the interest rates for the loan, and the possibility of negotiating an interest rate at the financial institution of your choice.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Contact an advisor at your service centre to make an appointment
3. Complete the Application for financing or a grant (PDF) and Individual sheet (PDF)
4. Gather and provide additional documents, including your forest producer's certificate, management plan, financial statements, and business plan
5. Submit the completed forms and documents during your appointment
