Funding to create jobs for Manitoba First Nations

The Community Economic Expansion Program is intended to assist Manitoba First Nation community-owned businesses for startup, expansions or acquisitions. The intent is that these viable businesses will provide for the creation of wealth and jobs for First Nations.

1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your business is at least 51% owned and controlled by Manitoba First Nations, operates primarily in Manitoba, has a profit objective, and demonstrates viability through a sound business plan 2. Prepare a comprehensive business plan detailing your business overview, industry analysis, marketing strategy, management experience, staffing, estimated project costs, and financing 3. Gather required documentation, including business registration documents, financial statements, project budget and cost estimates, proof of ownership, and any relevant permits or licenses 4. Complete the application form with accurate and detailed information about your business and project 5. Submit the completed application along with all required documentation to the designated program office
