Funds for PEI businesses to attract investors
Program Description
The Equity Investors Incentive provides new and expanding businesses in Prince Edward Island with a tool to encourage and attract private sector investment. The program provides a non-repayable incentive to investors to encourage investment in an approved Prince Edward Island-based investee business by increasing the return-on investment to investors.
Steps to Apply
1. Consult with Innovation PEI to discuss your business and the program details
2. Download and review the Equity Investors Incentive Guidelines from the Innovation PEI website
3. Prepare necessary documents, including a business plan, financial statements, proof of business registration in Prince Edward Island, details of business operations and payroll, information on exportable goods or services, and any other documents demonstrating compliance with program criteria
4. Complete the Equity Investors Incentive application form available online, ensuring all sections are accurately filled
5. Submit the completed application form along with the required documentation to Innovation PEI, either online or through the provided contact details
