Program Description
Starting with a national labour market survey of employers and educators, the Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) Report provides a complete analysis of the current state of the electricity sector labour market including national and provincial breakdowns; DEI statistics; trend analysis; etc. Workforce planners can use the data to plan for the future, recognizing that the time-to-competence for most roles is five years so planning for the sector is critical to ensure we have the workforce needed to maintain grid reliability over the medium to long-term.
