Funding for short-term Indigenous artistic projects

Program Description

The Short-Term Projects component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis professional and aspiring artists, cultural carriers, arts/cultural professionals, groups, collectives and arts/culture organizations. Grants provide support for any combination of eligible Creating, Knowing and Sharing activities for projects lasting up to 12 months.

1. Review eligibility criteria 2. Create an account on the grant portal and submit a profile for validation at least 30 days before applying 3. Consult with a Program Officer, especially if you are a first-time applicant 4. Prepare required documents, including a detailed project description, budget plan, and timeline 5. Complete the application form on the portal 6. Submit the completed application before the deadline
