Creating, Knowing and Sharing — Indigenous Organizations

Funding for short-term Indigenous artistic projects

The Short-Term Projects component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis professional and aspiring artists, cultural carriers, arts/cultural professionals, groups, collectives and arts/culture organizations. Grants provide support for any combination of eligible Creating, Knowing and Sharing activities for projects lasting up to 12 months.

1. Review eligibility criteria to ensure your organization qualifies for the grant 2. Contact a Creating, Knowing and Sharing program officer to discuss your application 3. Gather necessary documents, including financial statements and organizational information 4. Create an account on the Canada Council's grant application portal 5. Complete the application form with detailed information about your organization and proposed activities 6. Upload all required supporting documents to the portal 7. Review your application for accuracy and completeness 8. Submit the completed application through the portal
