Advice and awards for Indigenous businesses in Manitoba

Program Description

The Indigenous Business Development Services (IBDS) Program is comprised of organizations who offer services to Indigenous entrepreneurs. It offers business information and resource materials, assistance with business plan preparation, business advisory services, and training in the form of workshops and seminars. Currently, IBDS offers Capacity Building Projects and Training/Business Counselling Supports for Rural and Northern Indigenous Communities. Capacity building projects are designed to allow organizations serving Indigenous entrepreneurs to access up to $5,000 to implement projects that will encourage, support and/or assist Indigenous entrepreneurs in Manitoba. CF organizations can also apply for funding assistance of up to $5,000 from the Indigenous Business Development Services program to deliver training, workshops, or business counselling sessions in First Nations, Metis, or Inuit communities in rural and northern Manitoba.
