Financial incentives for energy efficiency in New Brunswick
Program Description
This program supports the implementation of energy efficiency projects in New Brunswick through the upgrade of commercial buildings to reduce electricity consumption, increase competitiveness, and produce a healthier workspace.
Steps to Apply
1. Contact an approved Energy Management Service Provider (EMSP) to schedule an energy audit or feasibility study
2. The EMSP conducts the audit or study, discusses potential projects, prepares a report, and submits an application on your behalf to NB Power
3. Receive a welcome kit from NB Power containing the Program Agreement, Statement of Work form, Request for Payment form, and Direct Deposit Enrolment Form
4. Return the signed Program Agreement to NB Power
5. After receiving the audit report, submit the completed Statement of Work to NB Power
6. Await approval from NB Power to proceed with implementing the recommended energy efficiency upgrades
