Collaboration to address the development of innovation
Program Description
Sector Adoption Program provides an opportunity for consortia to collaborate on approved projects to address the CIT challenge statement over a period of one year. Projects are eligible for up to $1M in funding from OCI.
At the end of the project, companies will demonstrate their solution and potential for wide-scale adoption.
Steps to Apply
1. Contact an OCI Business Development Manager to determine project eligibility and program compatibility
2. Form a consortium including a Lead Applicant and at least one Primary Partner with market pull
3. Ensure the Lead Applicant is an Ontario-based for-profit SME with fewer than 500 employees
4. Confirm the solution incorporates one of the named Critical Technologies
5. Prepare to match funding 2:1 by the applicant company
6. Develop a project proposal addressing the CIT challenge statement
7. Submit the application through the designated process
