What is this funding for?
Loans for new immigrants in Atlantic
Program Description
Immigrant Loan Program
Loans of up to $20,000 for temporary residents, age 19 years and older, wishing to start a registered business in our area (Cape Breton Regional Municipality);
Access to training, advisory and consulting services;
Seasonal and part-time businesses are acceptable;
Most sectors are eligible; and
Fixed interest will be charged at prime rate plus 3%.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Download the Application Form, Business Plan Workbook, and Financial Statement Template
3. Complete the Application Form with accurate information
4. Develop a comprehensive Business Plan using the provided workbook
5. Fill out the Financial Statement Template with current financial data
6. Ensure all documents are complete and consistent
7. Submit the completed application and supporting documents via email to patricia.macneil@cbdc.ca
