Subsidized clean tech intern
Program Description
Help grow the green workforce! Hire a clean tech intern and give them the chance to apply their STEM skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. You can get up to $30,000 towards their salary, training and wrap-around services costs.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria for employers and interns
2. Create an employer profile on the Career Launcher website
3. Submit a job description through the online portal
4. Await application review and pre-approval notification
5. If pre-approved, complete the budget form and submit it to CICan
6. Recruit an eligible intern or confirm an existing candidate
7. Have the selected intern complete the Participant Information Form (PIF)
8. Receive confirmation of subsidy amount and intern eligibility from CICan
9. Review and sign the contract provided by CICan
10. Sign an employment agreement with the intern
