Funds for small-budget productions in Alberta

The Alberta Made Production Grant (AMPG) assists Alberta producers to develop Alberta content. It also helps them attract and maintain skilled labour by providing employment opportunities for emerging talent and established industry professionals. The grant supports smaller productions as an integral piece of the overall industry ecosystem in Alberta by promoting investment in the creation of smaller-budget productions by Alberta producers, supporting Alberta creatives by providing specialized support for emerging and established producers working on smaller-budget productions, and providing cultural benefits to the province by supporting the creation of Alberta content and stories by Alberta companies.

1. Review the Alberta Made Production Grant guidelines to understand the requirements 2. Complete the Eligibility Checklist on page 4 of the guidelines 3. Create an online profile by emailing [email protected] with your first and last name, company name (registered with Alberta Corporate Registry), and preferred email address 4. Receive login credentials via email 5. Gather required information and documentation as specified in the guidelines 6. Access the Online Grant Application System using your credentials 7. Complete and submit the application along with all supporting documents through the system by 11:59 pm on the application deadline day; if the deadline falls on a statutory holiday or weekend, it is extended to the next working day at 11:59 pm 8. Ensure that faxed, mailed, late, or incomplete applications are not accepted
