Money to reduce methane emissions
Program Description
In collaboration with Natural Resources Canada, Alberta Innovates funded and leads the Canadian Emissions Reduction Innovation Network (CERIN), a pan-Canadian initiative to validate and deploy new technologies in methane emissions reduction. With CERIN as its primary vehicle, Alberta Innovates continues to invest in and facilitate the Methane Emissions Reduction space with aims toward establishing a national Centre of Excellence.
The Methane Emissions Reduction program supports technologies that detect, monitor, and mitigate methane emissions reductions from Alberta's oil and gas industry.
