Program Description
Agriculture producers can get compensation due to wildlife damage to some harvested and unharvested crops by enrolling in the Agriculture Wildlife Program.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria, including proof of BC Assessment Farm Status and land ownership or lease confirmation
2. Contact your local office for information about crop loss and damage due to wildlife
3. Gather necessary documentation, such as tax reporting numbers and evidence of best management practices in crop loss prevention
4. If you have production insurance, you are automatically enrolled; if not, proceed to enroll in the Agriculture Wildlife Program through your local office
