Support for Canadian kosher and halal red meat industries
Program Description
The AgriMarketing Program: Kosher and Halal Investment Component is offering $2 million in contribution funding over 3 fiscal years (2025-26 to 2027-28) to support the Canadian kosher and halal red meat sector for export promotion, market development and trade in Canada and abroad.
To receive funding, your project must align with the following program objective:
provide funding support to national, not-for-profit agricultural sector associations in the Canadian red meat sector (beef and veal) to:
increase and diversify exports of kosher and halal meats to international markets
seize domestic market opportunities through industry-led promotional activities to differentiate Canadian products and producers
leverage Canada's reputation for high-quality and safe food
