The Ag-West Bio fund is designed to provide seed capital and helps secure matching funds for early stage companies in the agricultural biotechnology, bioproducts, bioprocesses, natural health products, functional foods, and agtech sectors. Our investment is repayable and allocated to promising technologies at the early stages of development, often considered too risky for traditional private capital sources, and at a stage too early for venture capital attraction.

Ensure the company is a for-profit entity incorporated in Saskatchewan 4. Confirm the presence of a proven core technology with scalability 5. Identify an addressable market with defined partners and demonstrated traction 6. Assemble a capable team focused on revenue and commercialization 7. Contact Ag-West Bio’s Director of Investment and Commercialization to discuss investment readiness 8. Develop a unique commercialization milestone plan in collaboration with Ag-West Bio management 9. Complete the application form with all required information 10. Submit the application along with all supporting documents to Ag-West Bio
