Financial support for Indigenous entrepreneurs
Program Description
The Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Program – Access to Capital stream provides annual, ongoing funding to Indigenous entrepreneurs through the network of Indigenous Financial Institutions (IFIs) and Métis Capital Corporations (MCCs). Individual Indigenous entrepreneurs may receive up to $99,999 in funding assistance and eligible Indigenous community businesses may receive up to $250,000. To apply for funding, please contact your local IFI or MCC directly.
Steps to Apply
1. Review eligibility criteria
2. Prepare required documents
3. Contact your local Indigenous Financial Institution (IFI) or Métis Capital Corporation (MCC)
4. Complete the application form provided by the IFI or MCC
5. Submit the completed application along with all supporting documents to the IFI or MCC
